This exclusive gated community rests in Montecito, exuding relaxed elegance and glamorous lifestyle. In the mid-1800s the Dominquez family was granted 365 acres of pueblo land. Down the road in 1916, the ranch was owned by Herbert C. Cox who famously named the property Ennisbrook. Cox was responsible for expanding the original property to maintain 2 polo fields. When the renowned polo player Elmer Boeske purchased the property in later years, the community became quite popular for its polo fields as a main attraction. In the 1920’s and 1930’s visitors included Bing Crosby, Clark Gable and Fred Astaire.

In 1988, Santa Barbara County approved the proposal to build 63 estates that have expanded to 102 homes that currently stand today. Resting on 1 to 3 acre parcels, the estates in this private community boast breathtaking views of the ocean and mountains. This community contains beautiful landscaping and exclusive privacy with plenty of nature and space including over 50 acres of open land.

The center piece of the community is the clubhouse, reminiscent of the Spanish Colonial Adobe, providing multiple amenities including 4 tennis courts- 2 standard courts and 2 clay courts, swimming pool, wine lockers storage, kitchen and BBQ area.

Along with the glamorous estates that occupy this unique community, Ennisbrook contains 18 Spanish-style Casitas which are surrounded by lush trees. In this unique area there is a separate Casitas gym and pool.
